    Thursday

The morning was spent taking my FIL to Emerg. He was feeling lightheaded. He'd just had day surgery on Tuesday, so we thought we should get it checked out. He's 87. Turns out it was probably the pain meds reacting to the 14 different meds he's on!
    Yes, I said 14!

    Sigh

The afternoon was spent at my outside office, drawing scenes for the Silent Movie.
And my evening. (except for Grey's Anatomy - WOW! what an ending!!)
Too much time at the computer, my neck was sore by bedtime.

At this rate, I'm going to have to trek over to western Ontario and take my own pictures!

Congrats on staying on the wagon.

Sorry to hear about your FIL. We're going through a similar time with mine. Fourteen meds. Ugh!

There are photos of me - somewhere in my journal.
If you want to see them.
You are going to have to search

hint: I think there's one around June/July of last year - a Vegas photo

Well. I trekked through pages and pages and found 2 pictures of the young you who thought she was fat (those stupid "ideal" weights infuriate me!) and one of you in concert. No gold bikini pics.

Yeah, those "ideal" weights suck if you are 5' tall

There will NEVER be ANY gold bikini photos. Anywhere.

    Friday

Today was a CLEANING DAY, because children were coming home..
I dislike cleaning ALMOST as much as I dislike marking.

Lunch was a BAS with left over roast beef, red pepper, cucumber, cheddar, cranberries, brazil nuts, garlic, olive oil, and balsamic.
Supper was a Wendy's grilled chicken apple pecan salad and 4 squares of Godiva 70%.
(I missed out on the asparagus my Farmer had for supper)

I had to go into London to pick up Eldest and Girlfriend from the Bus Station and University Son from the train station.
Luckily the stations are close to each other and they arrived within 15 minutes of each other. The Beetle was full on the way home.

    No wine

    Thanks
    I've been busy.

    Saturday
College Son and his friend decided to take my Farmer's small boat down the river for a 2 day trip. So we loaded it up and I took them and Eldest Son and his Girlfriend to St Thomas to launch the boat. Then I drove Eldest and his Girlfriend into London and Eldest bought us lunch at East Side Marios. They were staying in London for a Stag and Doe and then going back to Toronto on Sunday. I came home and worked on the Silent Movie graphics. College Son called at 7 and asked if we could come and get them. The water was too shallow and they said it wasn’t “worth it”. So we took the Butterflies for a ride and brought them home.

    Sunday
Mother’s Day. I went plant shopping with my sister and my Mom. I bought my MIL a planter and I bought myself a hanging basket and a wrought iron stand and basil and rosemary. We got a bush and plants for Mom’s window boxes. When I got home and opened my computer, College Son had left a La Senza gift card inside it Daughter came home from Washington at 9pm. She bought me a new iPhone cover. It’s bright and colourful and I love it

    Monday
Dentist apt at 10:50. He replaced a failed mercury filling with a white one. Upper right molar. It took about an hour, my jaw was sore. He was supposed to do another filling on the left side, (he froze it) but the 1st one took too long so I have to go back next week. I worked on the Silent Movie graphics all afternoon, finishing at 4pm!
Our band concert was tonight. The conductor was sick all week and she called in a guest conductor because she didn’t think she could do it. I had a solo (a few bars) The Silent Movie piece was great, everyone laughed and loved the graphics. Daughter ran the PowerPoint. Mom, Dad, University Son, Daughter and Farmer came to watch me

    Tuesday
College Son went to work at a landscaping job this morning at 7. I ran/walked 2.5k.
This afternoon I did some marking for my HI student. It’s not fun. I don't like marking essays. Or exams.

University Son got a summer co-op job acceptance email today. He had two interviews on Thursday. One working in IT for a manufacturing company and another doing 3D modeling. He was really hoping for the 3D job, but today he got the email about the IT job. He has until Thursday to accept. He went back to Guelph on the train tonight. Daughter had her 1st soccer game tonight. They played well, but lost 3-1.
