    Saturday

I made a lame attempt to tidy my house.
    Don't come over tonight

I bought this while I was grocery shopping:

    I got all excited!
It's not very good dark chocolate
    But I ate it anyway

Someone, (I can't remember who) posted about this MDA salad.
Garlic Marinated Broccoli with Olives and Red Pepper | Mark's Daily Apple
I made it. But of course, I added carrots, cauliflower and feta...

It was REALLY good. I will make it again.

College Son is off to a CMRC Motocross race.

Oh that salad looks yummie!! I'll have to make it too.

(W)in(e)spiration: Nero d'Avola (Sicily), Primitivo di Manduria (Apulia), Negro Amaro, Nero di Troia => these are our favorite (Italian) wines .

The salad looks wonderful. But why eat chocolate that's not very good?

That was me. Your variation looks marvellous.

Once you've paid for it, the choice is eating it or chucking it. And those of us who are congenitally cheap can seldom bring ourselves to chuck things... Winencandy might have another reason, but that would be mine, and often has been.

Am I still allowed on this site if I say that I bought a bar of dark chocolate 10 days ago and there's still some left? I'm kind of in shock myself.

    You're still welcome here.
Believe it or not, there were times over the past two years where i could leave a dark chocolate bar on the buffet, in plain sight, for a month or more and not touch it.

    Now is not that time.
