    The article does mention fructose in the beginning. Fructose was what inhibited the rat's insulin and leptin responses and exercise is what brought their responses back to normal. I've read before somewhere thought that injecting an overweight rat or mouse with leptin will cause a reduction in appetite and leads to a reduction in body mass. Injecting leptin directly into humans on the other hand did not have the same effect though.

    Yeah but that was in reference to another article. Which I would like to read. The rest of the article goes on about exercise fixing the problem. The full article says that high fat and overnutrition cause obeisity and exercise fixes things. I am confused. Perhaps I should not have eaten those 30 bananas today...
