    I think she understands deciles but the things she said made it sound to me,also, like she thought there were separate low-carb and plant goups. There were not. The 3 groups were the same people looked at 3 different ways.

    dumbest study I've ever seen. neither group was truly low carb even in the most extreme, and the 'vegatable-based' group ate almost exactly the same amount of protein and fat. again in the most 'extreme' group, the difference is one extra serving of fruit/vegetable (or possible wonder bread) per day on average, and 1/2 serving less of meat on average, based on surveys taken about 'normal consumption'.

    One might even suggest that those who are trying/conscious of increasing their veg/fruit intake might - just might! - have a slightly inflated opinion or memory of their 'typical' intake. hmmm???

    Awful study. Give me a study that involves people who eat a primal/paleo diet compared to a vegetarian diet... then we can talk.
