    Didn't want to start a new thread, but couldn't find any where I could post this question:


    Is kohlrabi primal? It's a tuber, but not sure how starchy it is. I got some fresh ones from the farmer's market and plan to make chips.

    I dont think its a tuber. It's a cabbage


    Lots of "different" vegetables are really the same: broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, brussels sprouts, kohlrabi... they're all Brassica oleracea.


    The bulb-like thing is just a thickened stem, so you can think of it just like a broccoli stem.

    Aah, my bad. I tend to call anything that grows below the ground a tuber. Thanks for the clarification umuhk!
