I've been primal for 2 months now, and I'm considering running the Long Beach marathon (in my Vibrams!). I've never run a marathon before, but I used to go out for long runs (15-20miles) with no trouble. The marathon is in 58 days.. anyone have any suggestions for a training routine, or what I should expect??
The reason for this is that you need to follow a marathon training schedule that has been proven to work. There are many guides out there that tell you how to train for a marathon, but you do not want to get injured in the lead-up to your race. That could put your marathon preparation back months, if not years, depending on the extent of your injury.
