Smile Ceud mile failte from Glasgow, Scotland

    Primal Fuel
A hundred thousand welcomes to you all from rainy Glasgow. I have been shown the error of my ways by reading Mark's Daily Apple and some other Primal Blueprint type blogs and took the plunge and began the journey to a Primal lifestyle 5 weeks ago.

I've seen good weight loss through just eating Primal, I've lost 7.85Kg (17.3lbs) since we started and feel so much better for it. Got a long way to go though as my starting weight was 125.1Kg (275.2lbs) and I suffer from Malignant Hypertension and Type 2 Diabetes. I hope that this way of living will help me reduce both of these to a negligible amount or to clear them up entirely!

I've been introducing country walks into my regime (didn't do any form of exercise before) and I'm beginning to enjoy them. I reckon that once my weight has dropped a bit further I can start introducing more of the exercises that help promote a healthy body and mind.

Looking forward to my new way of life.

    Welcome to you all

Please be sure you're taking 25 mcg (1000 IU) per 11 kg (25 lbs) body weigh every day that you don't get midday, full body, SUMMER sun exposure to the point just before a burn would occur. This will change everything.

Chances are you'll also need to supplement magnesium

    Best,
    Katherine

Will do Sarah. At the moment we're buying everything from local supermarkets while we find a good butcher. Eating nuts and seeds help when hunger pangs start, not a lot of them but they sure help.

I walk absolutely everywhere, great exercise and you get to see something different most days. I have found my new hobby, Photography, to be beneficial, especially on country walks. You always want to go that bit further, or climb mountains for better views, so you get exercise without actually planning on it lol
