    Start by using a step stool and build up to unassisted pull ups! Even if you only get a 1/4 of one done, or a half, or 3/4..... you will eventually be able to do them! I have faith in you!

    whoa, dude, were those, like, totally unassisted pull-ups with your feet not touching anything? that's more than most of the people at my gym who work out all the time can do. ( I don't envy you the ache you'll probably feel in your lats in a couple of days.)

    Yep.... that was the first time since the military that I was able to do that! I still prefer doing the assisted (then again, who wouldn't? LOL), but I needed to test myself..... I feel VERY accomplished! However, I am going to keep working on it as my military record for pull ups (during Ranger training) was 25. I WILL GET THERE!
