I'm more fond of Texas de Brazil these days, though it's in Grapevine.

Katherine - I'm here all week, in and out, though my evenings are more busy than my days. I'm about 20-30 minutes from West Plano. Shoot me an email. suseyb @ gmail dot com. I'd love to see you, even for a moment.

There are all the gf standby's here for eating, if you need that right now. Cowboy Chicken has great chicken, similar to Boston Market, but tastier. I know there is one on Preston in Richardson, I think. Not a lot of veggies, though. Bring your own salad.

I'll email you both privately so we can make plans.

Sus, we've 'known' each other for, gosh, it's got to be more than 10 years...right? We *have* to get together....no matter what.

I'm so excited! How cool will this be

I live in Fort Worth but work in Dallas. Unfortunately I am incredibly busy this week so I don't think I could fit in a dinner. If by chance you are interested in taking some hot yoga/power yoga classes while you are here let me know... I teach in a few locations near Dallas. I have a few free classes to give away and I would love to meet some MDAers!

Well it looks like I won't be in the Plano area this week after all Bummer.

Sushi Masu is a fantastic little sushi place at about Hebron and Marsh. Amazing food at a decent price. Another good Indian place is Cafe Roti, which is in about the same area, Midway and Park. Jimmy Johns is a good primal sandwich place; they offer Unwiches which are just sandwiches wrapped in lettuce. Who knows if the meat is grassfed, but that's better primal fare than most sandwich chains offer.

Oh: be sure to check out the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in plano. I'm lucky enough to live within walking distance of it. It'll be hot tomorrow, but if you're looking for a beautiful place to move around at a slow pace, that would be it.

I'll be in Dallas (Plano) this week, Tuesday afternoon through Friday am and would love to meet up with local MDA'ers.

Anyone up for dinner or a glass of red wine. I'll be there visiting some old friends, so some of my time is already scheduled but I still do have some good chunks of time available.

So who's in Dallas? I know Beef Cake is but he seems to be MIA.....

Hey cillakat! You're in my backyard (Plano) and I'm out of town on business this week...;(
But if you get a chance to meet up with MDAers and friends, there is a new burger joint called the Grazing Cow 2mi. from my home that serves grass fed burgers (1/3lb and 2/3lb) and grass fed hotdogs. I believe its the only grass fed burger joint in DFW. I usually do the burger with the white bun for my limited nonPB meals. They are only open for lunch!

Hope to meet up some time, enjoy your stay!

    Regards,
    MoBob
During breakfast today, Abby asks, "How would this juicy, fat, sweet blackberry taste on top of my bacon?" I said it would taste BerrySwine...;-P
