Ok....so little kids always pick their noses instinctively and then .......eat it!!! and then we (the adults) try to stop them. CW?

So the question is... did Grok pick his nose....and eat it?

Apparently, it's good for kids to do that - and I think that would probably extend to adults. Immune system and all that.

Let's not start romanticizing the idiocy of children too, we put up with enough of the 'grokmanticism' as it is.

Kids will also put things up their noses, eat pre-mixed kool-aid mixes straight, refuse veggies, try to not fall asleep, throw a WWIII-level tantrum for being denied a Blow Pop, lick a frozen metal pipe, etc.

...but its not just children.....I've witnessed adults do it too......most often when gently distracted (eg; while driving and waiting for traffic lights to change) and not thinking about what they are doing.......so is it ' childhood idiocy' or is it an primitive program? It might not be romantic but it just might be autoinnoculation?

Ha ha, hillarious! Yes, children are not always some sort of beacon of health, but other times are very instinctively in tune with their bodies.

I read something about eating each others snot (in primate communities) being good for immunity and gut health? Booger sharing anyone?!?! Anyone? lmao!!!

Yes, I put a popcorn kernel up my nose once. I don't know what happened to it.

BUT, an Austrian lung specialist, Dr. Friedrich Bischinger says it's good for the immune system.

Aah, yes, clearly we have come upon some innate human wisdom. Eating body secretions. Reminds me of jocks in the back of the bus. Who knew that juvenile offensive line was so advanced?!
