Phrases you're really sick of hearing...

#1: "It made me throw up a little bit in my mouth."

If I read that phrase one more time, I think I'm going to, ummm...throw up a little bit in my mouth? NO, I think I'll merely scream within my mind.

    #2: "What would Grok do?"

I don't give a monkey's feces what Grok would do. All I care about is whether or not it has a good or bad effect on me.

    "I'm just saying."

The most passive-aggressive sentence since "it looks good on you, though."

We KNOW you're "just saying" it. You got that point across WHEN YOU SAID IT.

EDIT: The only thing worse? Cutting the "g" off to make it more casual. And the addition of the ever-adorable snark emoticon:

    "I'm just sayin'. "

That for me is the trifecta of QUIT IT.

My husbands all time hated saying: "It is what it is"

He gets laser death eyes when he hears anyone say it.

I don't like it much either, but I don't think I hate it. "Just sayin'" is probably one of my bigger pet peeves.

I understand where you're coming from here. You know what Grok would do? He'd eat every last fucking Twinkie in the grocery ailse and horde all the cup cakes until he was hungry enough eat again.

It's about getting optimal gene expression. So, it's not about what Grok WOULD do, but what he DID do. (I'm just sayin'. )

Not so much a phrase, but I really can't stand "preggers" or "prego" when describing a pregnant woman. I don't know why, it just really gets on my nerves.

This, and the idea of "lets replicate every single thing caveman did, completely turning our nose to any and all scientific/medical progress."
