    Need Peanut sauce substitute

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good peanut sauce substitution. One of my favorite meals pre-primal was a deconstructed basil roll salad (Romaine, thai basil, red pepper, ginger poached shrimp, and peanut sauce dressing). Any ideas?

Or sunflower seed butter; I've tried it both ways, and I think it's better and closer to a peanut flavor than almond butter.

i use cashews in place of peanuts.. they have the same pasty, fatty texture and similar flavor. i just make a "butter" out of them with my immersion blender and add in seasonings to taste:
ginger, garlic, liquid aminos, sriracha, little orange or pineapple, and sesame oil.. puree until smooth and eat it up!!
