Mens Fittness Magazine (UK) = primalish magazine

Anyone read it? got september 2010 issue spur of the moment, its not a paleo read, but refers loads to decent advise restricting bad carbs, recognising the correct ways to lose fat, high protein desserts, even had a caveman diet article, and explained that you can get abs by stripping fat, and doing compound exercises instead of loads of situps.

Bang on the money, encouraging people to slowly take on the idea of low carb lifestlye. Much less CW than other magazines.

I found the cave man article ridiculous..
It said to have fruit for breakfast with no meat..but cover it in sugar..
and it said you can have what ever you wanted to eat at selected meals..
I find MH contradicts itself greatly.

All of those sort of health magazines for men contradict themselves. I was reading one a while ago (Men's health I think) and an article was talking about low carb, fat and weight loss and then in the same magazine was telling people to eat low fat cheese and watch the saturated fat!

I find these magazines seem to be an exercise in vanity. Don't get me wrong a healthy body is a beautiful body but dieting and exercising for looks and not health is the wrong way to go about things and can cause more problems especially for the young and vulnerable.
