    Cafe style coffee for breakfast?

    Primal Fuel
I've lately been having a flat white (like a latte but probably not as big) from my local cafe for breakfast when I get to work. Downside is that it does involve dairy but I find it good for curbing my appetite and also find it a nice way to start the morning at work.

Any ideas on this? I can make coffee at home but it just doesn't work the same as an appetite suppressant. It must be the milk in the flat white?

You could switch out the milk for half&half, or possibly heavy cream if they carry it. I'm seriously considering taking some coconut milk to my local caffeine injectors and seeing if they'll foam it up for me...

But really, a cappuccino is my favorite breakfast/pre-workout "meal". I fail to see what's wrong with it, as long as the beans are fresh and the barista knows how to make microfoam.

why try to artificially curb your appetite? If you are hungry, eat something. Otherwise, switch the milk out for heavy cream.

I find styrofoam and sawdust work wonders for curbing my morning appetite instead of eggs, bacon and fruit.

My days are pretty hectic and sometimes it's just easier to grab a coffee rather than sit down for breakfast. I'm also not very hungry in the morning but hungry enough to want something. Any other suggestions for a light and quick breakfast on the go?

Hardboil an egg or two the night before?

Or eat a slice or two of smoked salmon or smoked tuna. If you really wanted something light, you'd hardly notice 2 oz./50 g of that. Cooked fish or canned fish mightn't feel so light, but thin slices of raw smoked fish would. Eat a piece of fruit, if you still fancy something after that. Again, no preparation time.

Also, why not use cream instead of milk in the coffee?

Try a Cortado if they can make it. It's 1:1 Espresso and Half and Half. It's similar to a latte breve, but it's only a shot (or a double if you are me).

I make coffee at home and put in some vanialla protein powder and heavy cream (or half and half if that's all I have).
