I read it in the bookshop (yay for Borders! Maybe that's why they went bust...).
It came across as trying too hard to be sassy *wiggle neck, snap fingers* which although amusing for a few pages wore thin quickly. I think I was in my v*gan phase at time of reading, so I was looking for agreement / confirmation.
The parts on animal cruelty were hard to read and made me gag (salt in wounds? Cutting bits off?). But that is/was (allegedly) in America; here in the UK there are controls. I'm no foolish enough to think that we're above such cruelty, but I don't think we have operations of that magnitude.
But then after that point, it was down to fake crappy "products". I was already confused and annoyed that eating "healthily" seemed to involve such things as Scheeze. Plus they were really pissing me off with their attitude by that point!

    Sod 'em.

Read it. Hated it. Both the message and it's crude delivery.

A friend of mine got it from her nurse coworkers before getting laparoscopic surgery, I read it in about 2 hours, and was so disgusted with the book that I didn't shut up about it for days. I really hate vegnazis, almost as much as feminazis.

It's really telling that this book was written by two models. They're passing their sickness on to a bunch of vulnerable women who've already been damaged enough by the modeling/fashion/beauty establishment.

I hate how vegans think that killing and eating meat is wrong. I know that just sounded so basic... but circle of life? Heard of it? Jeez, the cow don't care when i die.

I get conventional meat is wrong... but eating meat is how we survived for eons... I hate so many aspects of modern day society and stupid trends sometimes.

Any diet telling me to eat nonfoods is a diet I shall run the other way from. Whole food or no food.

Yup. Look at the pictures of them on the back of the book - small and weak.

One of them openly advertises that her nutrition knowledge comes from "self teaching". Obviously this makes the book all the less credible.
