    Neurotransmitter-->fantasies?

    Is there a particular neurotransmitter, or combination of them, that would affect fantasies, the ability to visualize or daydream?

    Serotonin. Definitely.

    ETA: I'm coming from the basis that hallucinogenic drugs are serotonergic and anyone who has been under the influence of hallucinogens can tell you that your imagination goes wild and daydreams become incredibly vivid.
