I have nothing to add to the topic at hand, however...... when I read the thread title, I thought, "Unicorn liver??!!"

i meant grassfed meat in general...so i figured i can afford and get farm eggs picked fresh and wanted to try this in unison with "angus USDA" choice beef they sell at the butcher but not solely b/c it is lacking a lot.

I thought uni-liver was going to be a new term for the beer-soaked liver of college freshmen.

I wouldn't eat argentinian beef liver supps b/c of risk of arsenic toxicity. Just freaks me out personally. http://www.cheeseslave.com/2008/05/2...liver-tablets/

BUT, here is a source of grass fed organ meats in pill form that are from New Zealand cattle. http://www.iherb.com/Natural-Sources...&utm_medium=f2 I'm taking them now.

I can also get grassfed beef liver for 2.50 a lb at my farmer's market, and plan to make it into frozen liver 'pills' (I'm waiting for it to be frozen for 14 days to kill all parasites/pathogens etc.) You may want to check around, grass fed organ meats can be a lot cheaper than regular grass fed meat.

Don't take liver supps. Liver is fine 1-2x per month but as a daily supplement there it's not nutritionally balanced - too much copper and A.

    +1

I buy a couple lbs. of frozen grass fed beef liver and just portion into .5 lbs portions. Eat that every few weeks when I am in the mood.

How much are you looking to spend for grass fed beef? Sometimes you can find better deals on grass fed lamb/bison depending on where you live.
