    Primal Muffin Recipe

    I have an extremely simple recipe for Primal Muffins.

    - I know this is similar to Mark's recipe for Nut Crackers...but I thought making them in cupcake tins made them easier to transport and just a little more fun.

    Bake at 375 for 8-10 min. Make sure you use some sort of fat to grease the cup cake tins or pan! Only fill Cup cake 1/3 full of batter.

    Basic Batter--

    2 C. Almond Meal
    3-4 Eggs
    1Tbs. Olive Oil
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp salt

    Make them sweet-->
    Add:
    1 Tbs. Cinnamon
    2 Tbs. Honey
    1 tsp. Nutmeg
    (Could also add 1 Tbs. Pumpkin Pie spice for extra flavor)
    - Optional: I added a small piece of 70% Cocoa Chocolate to the center of each muffin

    Make them Savory-->
    Add:
    1 Tbs. Rosemary
    1/2 Tbs. Black Pepper
    1 Tbs. Oregano
    1/2 Tbs Crushed Red Pepper

    - Mix batter with a fork, cook until golden brown.

    Enjoy

    I just found this recipe and was wondering:

    2 C. Almond Meal
    3-4 Eggs
    1Tbs. Olive Oil
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp salt
    You meant "1/2 stick butter," didn't you? Olive oil in muffins??
