How Many Primal Folks In Michigan? page

Do you live in Michigan? Where?!

I am a Michigander myself... Grand Rapids to be exact. I am just about to start a primal meetup group through meetup.com. Before I do so I wish to know how many people are primal and live in michigan and the exact location as far as city goes.

Wow! I used to live in EGR. 1839 lake dr was our house. I've been in Atlanta for 14 years and have been gone from that house for 30, but I always look longingly at it when I drive by. I <3 that house. I <3 EGR and Easttown.

When I was 9 we moved to Ada (*way* out in Ada) where we lived until I moved away at 22/23ish.

I know I've seen my Michigan folks.....there are at least two others from Grand Rapids alone....

Oh, and my dad and the rest of my family are still there and dad has totally embraced primal in the last two weeks. He's not far from Michigan/E Beltline.

For a brief time (about seven months, June 2002 through mid-January 2003) I lived in the Grand Rapids area. Southeast side, between the city and Caledonia. If I remember correctly we were close to 68th St. SE and Hanna Lake Ave. Nice area.

This is so weird that, so far, everyone here with a Michigan tie is from the W. MI/GR area (Grand Haven for me, before I moved to Nashville)!

I know, right hazyjane? It's bizarre given how conservative GR is. I guess those of us that sought out primal and a support community for it are decidedly different than the traditional Grand Rapidian/Western Michiganian (Michigander...)

I go through Nashville often.....almost every time I drive to Michigan. I've done it twice in the last month. lol

My mom has a place in Highland Park in GH. I'm heading up with the girls in a couple of weeks for some good Lake Michigan time. ooh. I just got goosebumps thinking of grand haven....esp when you're driving in the back way, behind highland park....and you come around that corner and can see the vast exapnse of shimmering lake against the bright blue sky. It's one of my favorite sights anywhere. Just like looking at the ocean.
