Which do you prefer? Is there any difference nutrition wise outside the fat content? I've always sided with the thigh because it as more fat but does that really matter here? Curious at to everyone's responses.

    Thigh.. so much more flavor!

Hubby prefers breast meat though.. he dosent like bones in his food ;-/
Makes splitting roast chicken easy in our house though
Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

This! Ask any chef....bone in is flavor town. In addition:

Its a more primal cut in that it contains bone and joint tissue. I like to naw down the cartilaginous area of the joint so in that respect I'm certain you get some of the same constituents that everyone raves about bone broth for! Breast is straight up protein/muscle meat.

The thigh with skin wins for me each and every time. It's my favourite part to the chicken. But I still enjoy chicken breast too, I especially crave it when I'm sick or super hungry for some odd reason.

Thighs over breasts anyday. I find breast meat too dry and not as tasty as the thighs.

Really though? I can eat a whole chicken myself, offal and all. I believe that to be the best way to eat chicken. If I were planning a party I would make a half chicken per adult. Whole chicken is often the best value($) as well. Bout to pull a yard bird outa the smoker now as a matter of fact.
