It's worthless. Pea is not a complete protein and I bet it tastes horrible.

Boil some eggs the night before if you're in a hurry.

    No it is not.

Eat complete protein sources instead. I like eggs or fish for breakfast.

Egg muffins, hard boiled eggs, jerky, sardines, sliced veggies, apple and almonds, cooked bacon, cheese, roast beef slices, unsweetened coconut flakes...

There are dozens of grab-and-go, eat-in-the-car options. Why choose crap instead?

coconut milk, coconut flakes, almonds and blueberries - put them in a bowl and eat...it takes the same amount of time to make a shake.
The pain of discipline or the pain of regret? You choose.

you said it yourself, "I know it's not very Primal"

if it isn't very primal, don't use it as a staple. "not very primal" is an occasional treat or fill-in when the pantry is otherwise empty.

Not much time? Get up FIVE MINUTES earlier. That's how long it takes to poach a couple of eggs while a portion of spinach microwaves. Or grab a handful of macadamias and a piece of fruit. Or microwave a piece of meat saved from last night.

And if you do want a protein shake, why not whey protein? Not based on a legume and much better for you.

I usually eat my morning food at work. I have all the food I need here; it's easier & the SO doesn't eat primal (that leaves sometimes one meal at home). Sometimes I eat mixed berries with kefir (cocoa powder & cinamon added for extra flavour) & cream (stupid US & their fear of full fat). Sometimes I have leftovers from dinner. If I'm hungry *now* I've been known to gnaw on cold leftover steak while I'm making my coffee & grabbing my fish oil. If you have an office job with a fridge, just stock up on stuff for the a.m. & leave it there. If it's because of school or whatever, everyone else's suggestions are great. Boil a dozen eggs on the wknd/your day off. For variety, make the tamari eggs in the PB cookbook (or your own concoction). Make crustless quiches (or clafoutis) in muffin pans: good "hand" food. (or cut up larger ones into portions). IF until lunch: there are no laws about what we have to eat at certain times. That's why you have a good chance of catching me eating a BAS for breakfast ;-)
