I hope you all can all clear something up for me. Am I correct in thinking that if a person has oxalate-sensitivity, that only shows up as excess calcium in the body (e.g., kidney stones or something like that)? You wouldn't experience symptoms like achy joints, GERD, diarrhea, etc.?
I have heard anecdotes of oxalates causing joint problems for people. I can't confirm it directly.
I had a friend whose epilepsy was triggered by excessive oxalates. She had to be careful with spinach and rhubarb, among other things.
Thanks everyone! Additional responses are welcome.
