    Started serious attempt to keep primal in May 2010. Had already given up all grains except rice and somewhat restricted carbs before that, but started trying to keep carbs under 50 (best) or at least under 100 grams per day and zero, or near zero refined carbs.

    * Cleaned most simple carbs out of kitchen cabinets, including bulk sugar, rice noodles and mung bean threads.

    * Doing water exercise about 2x per week. Walking dogs about 2x per day. Targets are 3x week for water ex and 4x day for dog walking.

    Haven't weighed yet, but one of my extra chins has shrunk up to a mere bag of wrinkles, and my knees are morphing from fat to knobby. Success!

    Still giving away shelf stable foods with simple carbs and dumping frozen carbiferous items.

    Fitness goals:

    * water exercise, three times per week,

    * dog walking, four short walks per day or 60 minutes total per day.

    Right now, good weeks are two times to the pool and two times per day walks.

    Lifting heavy things is out, it provokes too much back pain. But, in the pool I am working on pushing light things under water.

    Went to Dr today. She is very, very pleased. Amazed to find that she believes GCBC and in animal fat and low carb. She found them via her own path. She likes 100/100/100 for me (100 gr protein, 100 grams fat, and less than 100 grams carbs) although she considers 100 grams of fat high. She agrees with no manufactured foods, processed sugars, starches and no grains, limited nuts. She said somebody has a theory that we should have 15 grams of sugars per day, in three 5 gram servings. I will have to find out where that's from and what that's about.

    Blood lipids,etc will come when I get them, but here are my stats so far:
