I've been primarily Primal off and on (mostly on) for about 5 years. I've lost weight, and I've regained some weight. Years ago I was 240lbs, today I'm 177 at 5'3" and almost 34 years old. Thanks to CrossFit and weightlifting, a bit of that is muscle, but I've still got at least 20 lbs. of fat to lose, perhaps more. I've been stuck in the 170's for over a year now. I need to move more, as I'm at a desk job. So I'm trying to take my dog for a long walk several times a week and get out hiking local trails now that spring has arrived. When I track my macros, I see I tend to not get anywhere near enough protein, but struggle with ways to up the protein without messing up my other macro amounts.
I have no gallbladder since it was removed when I was 19, but I've never seemed to have problems with higher fat levels. However, I've had high liver enzyme levels for years and we can't find a cause. When I eat grain-free, they do get better.
