    Whole 30

    Shop Now
I've been primal for about 1 month but have decided to do the whole 30 and see what happens. Thought I'd post my experience here, more as a way to log my progress. I'm really interested in anyone elses experiences with this. I haven't had dairy in a while but yesterday when I made a hot chocolate (raw milk, coconut milk and green and blacks) I had really bad palpitations for about 2 hours afterwards. Coincidence or dairy I'm not sure but it's made me decide to do this for a month. So today is day one,
B: 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 2 eggs and 2 slices of sweet potato fried in coconut oil, yum!
L: Salmon fillet fried in ghee with a big bowl of mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes and flaked almonds
D: Shoulder of lamb with roasted carrots and greens

Plus blueberries with coconut milk, no honey today
Really interested to hear others experiences on the whole 30

Hi Josephine! Today is Day 2 of my first whole 30 too! I'm not logging it anywhere, just plugging along with a friend from the gym. I'll check back in here on you from time to time. Go get em girl!! 😊😊

Whole30's forum is good too: Whole9
The mods are really helpful, and if you have a question about anything, google "XYZ whole30" and you'll get links to specific threads.

Hello Edennperez1 and Kirkor Also interested to hear if anyone finds any particularly delicious recipes. Missing my honey on my fruit already! Had work last night till midnight, hadn't planned very well and didn't take any snacks, would usually raid the tuck shop and have coffees with sugar but did neither, cooked a lamb chop when I got home at midnight instead! Proud of meself

    Day 4
    B: Wasn't hungry
L: Lamb chop, spinach cooked in ghee with flaked almonds
D: Sweet potato and ground beef hash cooked with onions peppers and asparagus, yummy!
    Blueberries, raspberries and coconut milk.
Was expecting some sort of crisis by now after reading other peoples blogs but feeling fine, probably because I was quite clean eating before I started.

Ya, I think the "official timeline" can be a self-fulfilling prophecy for a lot of people. A lot seem to attribute every little detail in their lives to the fact that they're doing a Whole30. "OMG it's Day 2 and I have a headache!! Is this "carb flu" because I'm only eating 2 pieces of fruit a day instead of 4?!?!"

Hey! Can you send the recipe for the Thai red curry? Good job making it through that tough spot of being without snacks!! Things are going fine for me - just a little more tired than usual. I'm still progressing with my heavy lifting during this time which is probably why I'm more tired than usual. I'm making this tomato cod chowder tonight. I've made it before. It's good!
