And the poor kids! Get them off the gluten, too!
Did it mess with your intestines at all? I have been gluten free for a few weeks now, and ate some of y kids pizza this afternoon at lunch. I am only now starting not to feel nauseous and the pain in my upper GI tract is finally subsiding.
I NEVER thought gluten would have such an effect on me. It's happened in the past when I've done SBD and then added in gluten, but I never made the connection.
Yikes! Learned my lesson.
And the poor kids! Get them off the gluten, too!
I ate quite a bit of pizza on the 26th day of PB and had no problem with it. I'll try again soon and see if I notice anything. Sugar, on the other hand, gives me massive headaches now.
I also ate pizza a few weeks ago and only got heartburn, but it might have been the cheese.

I wonder then if it was something else or if it was the gluten? Hmmm
I ate bread on vacation after being off grains for 3 weeks. My mood got worse and worse and by the 5th day I was really ill with flu-like symptoms. I don't have to try THAT experiment again!
scubasam, there's plenty of people who discover "grain sensitivities" after going grain free. One theory is the gut flora that consumed that stuff for you has starved and departed and cannot help you anymore. Another is you just didn't realize how much that stuff was messing with you and good riddance.
Half a slice of bread turns to stone in my guts. Sugar I can handle in small amounts., wheat not so much.
