scallion-ginger coconut oil
This sauce is traditionally made with corn oil or vegetable oil but I made it with coconut oil and it worked really well. Its great in stir fries or scrambled eggs. I think it would be good on just about anything.
mince 6 scallions
mince an inch and a half or so square of ginger root
salt heavily in big metal or plastic bowl
melt half a cup of coconut oil til its close to smoking
dump oil in the bowl, its going to sizzle
stir and let cool
transfer to container and refrigerate, use at will
Sounds tasty. But I don't think I would pour sizzling oil into a plastic bowl.
