    Fairly Basic Food List?

    Shop Now
    Hello all,

Two days into the PB "lifestyle"; I have searched web for a detailed food list and have not been able to come up with one. In the book I found a decent list for fruits but would love for others opinions to expand my pantry. I do not want to get caught without a PB food when there are so many options out there.

    Thank you in advance!

Thank you very much but there are a lot of non PB foods, did get some good ideas. Looking for something a little more specific I guess. I will keep searching.

you need more than grilled chicken and lettuce :-P...

throw some fats in there [avocado, coconut, butter]

some veggies with some nutrient values would be nice too [kale, spinach, bok choy, onions, zucchini, really just mix it up so you get a good spread]

Meats and and low-starch vegetables fill my grocery cart. Make sure you have butter and coconut oil for the fat. Full-fat dairy items if you can tolerate dairy. There's no magical list, everyone just gets what is appropriate for them and to their tastes.

    And good luck!

What part of "non-starchy vegetables, meat, some nuts and fruit" is so difficult? Why do you need a detailed list? Can you recognize fruits and vegetables and meat at the grocery store? I'm perplexed, here.
