I think it's confusing to just simply say tucking the pelvis is bad. Obviously if you're very lordotic, tucking the pelvis will improve your posture. I think her point is that ideal posture is not as tucked as we think it is.
I always thought I had good posture but then after losing 100+ pounds, I find that I am a little slouched over. This could also be that the weight loss came around the time I'd gotten to about the 2 year mark at a cubicle job where I sit at a computer all day too.
