What are some streches I can do to keep me supple?

My muscles get tight very easily, so I constantly need to exercise or I end up quite stiff. I'm taking up yoga but do you guys have any suggestions for stretches I can do during the day to keep me flexible and supple?

I think what makes the most sense is to figure out which muscles or joints become tight, then do specific stretches to counteract that tendency.

This book is awesome!! It's geared towards lifters but you don't have to be. Becoming a Supple Leopard by Dr. Kelly Starrett

I just got this book too - haven't started reading it yet so I didn't want to recommend knowing nothing about it.

If you lift, you're gonna love it! It's dense. I read it on vacation. You can also flip to the back and find your difficult area and begin working on it.

OP, you can also google "primal moves". I like these and am using these videos to help me stay "mobile" and supple as well. I think there are four videos total.

I get very tight shoulders due to an old neck injury. I usually find jamming my fingers into the really sore spots relives the tension and then flailing my arms around loosens them up. I get weird looks and comments but the relief is too good to care.
This is all just opinion. And it will have probably changed by this time tomorrow. Don't quote me on anything.
