    Red sunglasses?

    Primal Fuel
OK, I've been scouring the Internet for one particular thing: a pair of red sunglasses that fits well enough to prevent light leakage around the lenses and doesn't look dorky (for sleep-inducing purposes; red lenses are better than orange lenses in that respect). Right now, I've got a pair on order that seems to satisfy the first requirement, but not the second. In fact, all the red-lensed glasses I've seen appear to make the wearer look like a complete and total dork. I don't mind looking like a dork for a while, but if I'm going to be wearing those things for the rest of my life, I'd like to get something more stylish. Anyone got any pointers?

    These don't look dorky:

I'd consider wearing them except that I wear glasses, so they'd have to be prescription.

Nice! I wonder if any of those lenses would come in red? Red is even better than orange in terms of inducing sleep.

Alas, I'm the least cool person in the known universe - and if I wear orange goggles I'm even less cool. I don't normally care what I look like, but the orange goggles are crossing the line even for me.

Ha. It would probably not surprise anyone who knows me if I showed up like that.

Maybe not the answer you are looking for, but red cellophane can be cut to fit and (carefully, with an appropriate adhesive) glued to an existing pair.

Or visit a nearby eyeglass place and yak it up. They can probably customize something for you. But $$.

It better be. I think I will be experimenting with red cellophane soon.
