    best store bought mayonnaise?

    I would like to start making my own, but for now I'm busy with all the usual summer happenings and would love to know what the best commercially prepared mayo is from the primal standpoint.

    Any recommendations?

    Best Food Regular, Full fat...it has the BEST taste and low carbs no sugar...... :-) (ingredient list nice and short)

    The best store bought mayonnaise is no store-bought mayonnaise. Seriously. Just don't eat mayonnaise if you can't make your own. Industrial seed oils are death.

    Make your own mayo. It only takes a few minutes, so time is no excuse.

    Have fun with it. I like to play with different olive oils to see how it will affect the flavor (my mom makes a killer basil mayo).

    I once even made a mayo made completely out of liquid bacon grease, although after the mayo was refrigerated it became very very hard.

    The whole 'mayonnaise is easy to make' mantra is bullshit! I've tried to make mayo 3 times and each time it's a runny, foul tasting waste of time and money.
    I began this Primal journey on December 30th, 2009 and in that time I've lost over 125 LBS.

    I've found that the key to making your own mayo is a stick blender. I wouldn't even try without one.

    I saw a mayo in the store made with sunflower seed oil, which creeps me out less than canola or soy oils. Maybe you could find that one... it was in the "natural foods" section with all the organic stuff. I can't remember the brand.

    I agree--you MUST use an immersion blender--then its way easy. Don't even try whipping by hand IMO....
