On nutrition? Not so much. A few months back I read Minger's work "Death by Food Pyramid". I rely on websites more than print to get my nutrition information. I would recommend that book, however, as it gives you some cool history.

    General Reading:

Donna Tartt: The Goldfinch, The Secret History, and The Little Friend. I think I liked the Little Friend the most but all are true literary classics, IMO. They are huge books and it took me a couple of months of airplane time to get through all three. Good stuff.

    Nutrition:
Phinney and Volek: The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance (As recommended by Neckhammer) Well worth reading for all those who are interested in the low carbohydrate way of eating.

The Sixth Extinction.....reading it now, and it is pretty amazing.
"They now look to a single and splendid government of an aristocracy, founded on banking institutions, and moneyed incorporations under the guise and cloak of their favored branches of manufactures, commerce and navigation, riding and ruling over the plundered ploughman and beggared yeomanry." - Thomas Jefferson, 1826

It is, of course, inevitable, in the long view of things. I think this one looks like a good read!
