    Nice OS! I think you're going to progress fast now that you've got the movement dialed. Something tells me we'll see a "Yayyyyy.....Deadlifted 400" thread very soon.

    Nice lift OS! I just pulled 385lbs yesterday too (though I've been deadlifting for a few years now though!). Also had 365x4, definitely making progress on it.

    I took this video early August (didn't upload till the end of August) of my first attempt at 365lbs after not deadlifting for about a month. Just squatting 3x week with heavy farmers carries: Deadlift 1x365lbs PR - YouTube

    Great job! Deadlifts are definitely addictive. I was built for deadlifting (long arms, short torso and legs) so it was always my best lift. A 500 pound deadlift is not out of the question if you stick with it, more if you specialize.

    That's the same way I am, Bushcraft. I'm 6'3 with long legs and a small torso, but a 6'9 wingspan so the lockout is pretty low. My deadlift is always about 100lbs ahead of my squat, and 200 lbs ahead of my terrible bench press.

    If I ever compete in powerlifting, I too want to be a specialist and just focus on getting a 500+ deadlift. I'd have to be 275+ if I wanted to be competitive in powerlifting.

    I think people need to check the dates on these things when they forum-stalk people. The OP was over 4 months ago, and I think he tore a bicep tendon shortly afterwards.

    I've only been there for about 2 years, but it is a pretty good gym. A few power racks and they let you use chalk liberally-- pretty rare for a $19.99 a month 24/hour globo gym.
