How many calories do you think Gronk was eating ?

I think there's no way Gronk was eating the amount of calories that we eat today. It's hard for me to picture him eating 2500 calories a day on average. Am I wrong ?

Grok was eating to satiety is my opinion. That meant some days could be as much as 3,000 calories other days as little as 1,000 or even less, with a few purely fasting days thrown in there.

In the end, it probably all balanced out.
"The cling and a clang is the metal in my head when I walk. I hear a sort of, this tinging noise - cling clang. The cling clang. So many things happen while walking. The metal in my head clangs and clings as I walk - freaks my balance out. So the natural thought is just clogged up. Totally clogged up. So we need to unplug these dams, and make the the natural flow... It sort of freaks me out. We need to unplug the dams. You cannot stop the natural flow of thought with a cling and a clang..."

Grok lived a harsh and short life; eating whatever he could kill or gather! It was an exsistence of „bellum omnium contra omnes“; cannibalism was the order of the day and there were few pleasures compared to nowadays! When food was present he ate nonstop for days and then starved until killing something again or becoming food himself for another hungry Grok or animal...

    yeah you are

I mean there's so many ants in my eyes! And there are so many TVs, microwaves, radios... I think, I can't, I'm not 100% sure what we have here in stock.. I don't know because I can't see anything! Our prices, I hope, aren't too low!

Though many people here seem to think that s/he who can eat the most calories wins, I'm not sure if that's evolutionarily sound. There is X amount of food for Y number of people in the tribe. The person who needs the most calories might need to prove that s/he is worthy of those calories.

We obviously have a shit-ton of calories available now. So, no proof is necessary. There is some research that those who eat the fewest calories live the longest. I don't know if it's good research or not. It resonates with me. While I love food, I don't want to have to eat 3000+ calories per day to be able to survive. It seems like a lot. A couple of meals per day of meat, more meat, and some fruit seems like a good jumping off point.

2500 is the average recommendation for a sedentary male. This is far less than what Grok would need on average, and even less than a typical farmer would consume 40-50 years ago....hard work takes high calories especially if it is happening most of the day.
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.

when he's in training, am quite sure rob gronkowski eats a shit-ton.

As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.
