5-Minute Journal for gratitude
So I received The Five-Minute Journal as a gift from a friend and am starting it today. For those of you that don't know it's basically an organized gratitude journal that you write in for 5 minutes before bed and as soon as you wake up in the morning. It's supposed to promote positive thinking and overall happiness. I'd heard of this before (I think from Tim Ferriss), but never realized there's actually some science to it. "A 2003 study by Emmons and McCullough found that keeping a daily gratitude journal lead to not just an increased sense of well-being, but also better sleep, more willingness to accept change and even helped to lower symptoms of physical pain (25)." Pretty cool. I can't wait to get started.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with a journal like this? Results? Thanks!
