    This sound about right !

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.

    1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
    2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
    3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
    4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
    5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

Yes could be we're too far from the equator.

There are a lot more heart attacks in Scotland (per head) than in England despite diet and genetics being similar.

    Vitamin D?

I think it's the fact that everybody's cynical around here (he said cynically).

The lack of sunlight is real bummer over here though - seriously messes with my head and I deal with stress much less favourably unless it's a gorgeously sunny day like today! Maybe I should revive my Welsh speaking and I'll get around the heart issues

Yes 52 degrees north here, well north of the mainland USA, Vitamin D pills needed from October to March at least.

But Bright and sunny all day today and forecast to hit 18C/64F, roll on summer :-)

Not a problem as we have a song in the heart and a laugh rolling off the tongue, we chuckle at grey sky's and sheet rain. (also a born and bred Welsh lad, Haverfordwest brother )

Do not hold the fact I currently live abroad against me, the world needs us.
