Is 8 oz. of roasted pork loin too much at one sitting?

As the title asks, is it too much? I planned my lunch today with that, some steamed sweet potato (about 4 oz.) and 1/2 cup of the Green Giant Anti-oxidant blend vegs. What do you think?

Are you so full you think you might throw up afterwards? Then it's too much.

Me personally? 8 oz of meat is an appetizer.

I was going to say, two pounds is fine for me. Didn't even spike my blood sugar.

Loin is so lean, and low in calories...I don't see an issue. I used to get the cryovac 24oz ones and eat them at once.

Thanks all. This is good to know. Despite being a semi-practicing Buddhist/Hindu, I'm unquestionably carnivorous. I asked because this is new to me, having been conditioned to the 3-4 oz. or palm size serving of meat, which in retrospect is probably what caused me to overeat carbs. When I have a ribeye steak and eggs at the diner, the steak is 12 oz., and far from making feel like throwing up. In fact, I could probably eat 2 of them.
