    I don't think monogamy is natural for men OR women, but with the dominance of monotheism in our society, it's the only acceptable form of relationship. I have no problem with Polyamory at all and think that if everyone were accepting of it the world would be a much more peaceful place. Look at how many people cheat and how rare it is that a relationship stays together for a lifetime, how can that be natural?
    Type 1 diabetic for 25 years.

    I didn't cotton on to the monotheism / monogamy parallel before... interesting stuff.

    I tend to think that we, as a species, are so adaptable and tenacious that as Roach said we are hardwired for everything - truly "futureproof" .

    So within that, it's down to individual variation, tempered by cultural / educational things.

    (Deliberately not commenting on the abortion issue.)
