I also got lost in the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris". Some of SRV's (Stevie Ray Vaughan) songs used to do that to me too but I'm not sad/don't have the blues anymore. I am still struck/stricken ?? by them though.

There are a few for me, mostly with ties to somewhere in my past:
"Iris" by the GooGoo Dolls; ties into my history of depression
"Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle and "The Little Drummer Boy"; both tied to when one of my grandfathers passed on
"Blood of Cu Chulainn" story of my life in music and the song I walked down the aisle to
"Strangers in the Night" by Frank Sinatra; My husband and my song
"Perfect" and "Raise Your Glass" by P!nk, again, songs that could've been written about me
"Learning to Fly" by Pink Floyd, another song I identify with
Always, ALWAYS "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen
"No fate but what we make"- Sarah Connor, Terminator 2
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, steak in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Holy F***, What a Ride!"

Dead Can Dance - "The Host Of Seraphim"

This was the song at the end of the movie "The Mist". A seriously f@#ked up movie ending and typical of Stephen King.
