Salmon = Insane amount of energy??

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
So I hardly ever eat any kind of seafood but I thought I would try to incorporate some into my diet. I bought a few cans of sockeye salmon and had one today for lunch. That was about 3 hours ago and I have so much energy I don't know what to do with it all. Since getting home from work I've been running around non stop with my kids. I picked my wife up and put her over my shoulder and ran around in circles. I felt like I needed to get rid of all this ridiculous energy somehow! Anyway, does anyone else notice lots of energy from seafood compared to other primal food?? Could it be all the omega 3's I just consumed putting me in a great mood? Whatever it is I hope it continues! I seriously feel about 10 years younger today, pretty crazy stuff!

Not really...had some a half hour ago and am still fading fast, but it IS almost quitting time on a Friday. I do eat seafood, esp. salmon, very often, so maybe I'm just used to it.

The brand I found at the supermarket has 24.5 grams per can without any extra oil which I think is a pretty decent amount. It comes with the bones and skin. Plus I mixed the salmon up in a big bowl with Brussels sprouts and 2 tablespoons of grass fed butter so I got plenty of fat with my lunch. Over 3 hours now and I still feel really good! I think it's my new favorite primal meal!!
