    Had a lovely valentine's day with ReadytoGrok. We ate out (actually had a date!). Some yummy NY Steak with brandy sauce, asparagus and a bit of white potato. Our weigh in was the next morning. 150.0 but weighed in the next day and back down to 149.4.

    Went for a walk yesterday. hoping to hike this weekend. we'll see what the weather holds.

    I tested my blood sugar 1hr post meal (nitrate-free salami, cheese, dill pickles, plus 1/2 homemade muffin)....it was a whopping 88! so thrilled with that.

    I've been enjoying the rainy weather by playing around with my almond meal muffin recipe. I've got it down to 7g total carb (5 net carb), 23g fat, 7g protein.

    Still in the 149's. Kind of left the whole30 idea. Had some chocolate and berries and an almond muffin. My clothes are a whole lot looser. Over the weekend we did two hikes. 7.2 miles in total. Such a lovely weekend with my family. I plan on LHT on Wednesday. my body misses it.

    B: IF
    then had tea w/ cream, a few toasted pine nuts (they were left over sitting on the counter)
    L: a bit of leftover steak, BAS with roast beef
    85% chocolate - 7 carbs
    D: baked chicken thighs, green beans

    Sleep was interrupted again. Feeling exhausted physically and a bit emotionally. I am feeling stuck when it comes to getting things done. Took an hour nap while baby slept. At least we got school done. Hoping for an infusion of energy to work on the house. Feel silly for such a simple to do list to seem so overwhelming, but that's where I'm at.

    I'm thinking about alternate day fasting. M,W,F,Sun - regular primal days, T,TH,Sat - 1 - 500 cal meal at suppertime. My reasons - selfish and a bit impatient if I am being honest. We will be going on vacation in about 4.5 weeks. I want the accelerated fat loss. I was planning on weaning my son soon anyway. He's been only nursing at night and early morning. He'll be 10 months old. But still feel a bit selfish for wanting to do it. My other main concern is my irritability on fasting days. I don't want my children to suffer b/c mommy's feeling a bit b****y b/c she's hungry. I guess I can always change my mind. I have a pile of clothes to donate b/c they are too big, and I just took some out of storage b/c they now fit. I am now in my pre-pregnancy clothes!

    B: 3 eggs in CO
    L: BAS - spinach & roast beef
    3.5 carbs worth of 85% chocolate
    D: some sort of meat, sweet potato, broccoli

    LHT tonight. Simplefit level 4 day 2. I haven't worked out in awhile, but still felt strong. I did my blood sugar after supper. 1 hr 127, 2 hr 95. Kind of disappointed, but reasonable. Sweet potato and butter. Good to keep in mind. I had energy though for workout. Now I'm curious what my weight will do.

    B: tea with 2 TB cream
    L: tea with 1 TB cream
    snack: a few carrots, spoonful of coconut butter, bite of yogurt
    D: baked chicken breast with roasted butternut squash, turnips, mushrooms, bacon grease, 1 oz cheese - 1 hr blood sugar = 104

    I did not feel good today. I was very hungry. After reading through a new thread for ladies, I am reconsidering this alternate day fast. If I listen to my body, I want to LHT again. I want to be more active. I need the energy to take care of my three boys. Fasting does not enable me to do these things.

    Loose size 12, some size 10





    RtG and I are trying out the 14/10 approach. 14 hr fast/10 hr eating window....it would be 16/8 if we didn't have an evening snack.
    I do have tea with cream to get past the worst hunger. We'll see how it goes. Been reading up on leptin resistance and pcos. Pretty happy with progress.

    Maybe next time I'll be brave enough with the legs....they are my leanest part. I can no longer run in these exercise pants....they fall off.

    Very pleased with the caliper result also!!

    I experimented with 3/4 c cottage cheese with half cup bluberries after LHT. 124 1 hr. . Oh well, now I know.
