No worse than flat water. Which can kill you in sufficient quantities, or if you're submerged in it.

Carbonated water is a bit on the acidic side of things, but I've actually been reading that some of the healthier natural spring sources are slightly acidic as well, so this whole thing about needing to drink "alkaline water" is actually bunk because it appears that traditional water sources that people have been using for centuries, if not millenia now, are acidic.

There is also evidence that slightly acidic water (as carbonated water tends to be) is absorbed and up taken by the cells more readily. I dunno if it's true, but if it is, I'd say you can relax and enjoy.
"The cling and a clang is the metal in my head when I walk. I hear a sort of, this tinging noise - cling clang. The cling clang. So many things happen while walking. The metal in my head clangs and clings as I walk - freaks my balance out. So the natural thought is just clogged up. Totally clogged up. So we need to unplug these dams, and make the the natural flow... It sort of freaks me out. We need to unplug the dams. You cannot stop the natural flow of thought with a cling and a clang..."

I have been trying to cut down on the whole red wine thing, Gwamma was getting squiffy far too often, and started drinking carbonated water and lemon or lime juice. I am really enjoying it, but wasn't sure if the added carbon was a good or bad thing.
Thank you for the replies, I shall carry on !!!!!!

Won't hurt you a bit. Your burps will nurture plants. Drinking carbonated water, therefore, is your duty as a good citizen of the earth.

kiwi blue do a nice carbonated water and now do a lemon or a lime one too. it was on special last week at new world. I mix the lemon one with bourbon which will definitely help with cutting down the wine LOL

    okay next question.......
i cook with cast iron, very little else. And of course if you leave water in it the rust is huge. If food is left in a cast iron pan or pot overnight, is the rust that is going to form on the food beneficial or not ???????
