I've been on MDA since Dec, but never started a journal. I started a W30 (due to GI issues) in Jan, at 30 days improved health (w a ways to go) & down 7 pounds, added another week (at least) bc I wasn't quite AIP the first week.

Went to another location of grocery store and was happy to see they carry Kombucha! Trilogy, my fav!!!!

Experiments in progress:
Added a generic probiotic, Nutrition Now PB 8, to my AOR 3.
First batch of beet kvass looks to be going well, I guess I won't know until it's ready.
Trying to revive my milk kefir grains that were hibernating x 1m. Another member suggested trying pasteurized milk, less competition, so giving that a try.
Water kefir is my new FAV drink, making bigger batches! Trying different combinations of berries and ginger.
Eating fruit alone in the morning is the ONLY way for me to enjoy it for now. I had a whole green banana blended w frozen wild blueberries and my berry kefir water. RS, probiotics and deliciousness!
I pretty much have the same lunch every day. Grass fed ground beef cooked in bone broth w carrots and spinach. I actually eat lunch twice, early and late, as tummy does better w less food at once.
Liver last night settled well. It was chicken liver, hoping to get grass fed beef liver this week.
Still having bone broth daily. Not as much since I guess I overfilled 2 qts I put in the freezer last week. Broth expanded, jars cracked! Sad;(
Pau d'Arco tea?
I grabbed the Traditional Medicinals tea off the clearance rack, I've heard it's good immune support. I'll give it a try w everyone getting sick around me.

Beautiful FL day, 72 degrees and sunny!
Nothing beats being barefoot at the beach, walking and the sound of waves crashing!
Back to take on the day way more relaxed!
Time to clean, work and keep LO occupied and then I think both of us will go have a picnic lunch and play on the beach!

Adding back in foods after W30?
Experimenting w cooked and cooked rice for RS. Had that instead of PS last night.
Tried a little milk kefir in my morning blend of green banana, frozen berries and water kefir. Also, been opening a powder probiotic cap and adding that in.
Bok Choy ferment tastes good but is a little soft for my taste. Will see after it refrigerates.
Tasted Kvass, yum but salty. It's been a week at least but not a week and half like recommended. It's pretty warm here so maybe I can jar some up today
Water kefir is the best, especially w the second ferment process w berries and/or ginger added
Adding in lots of RS foods, more fruits, raw veggies without issues!
