Way to go!!!
Five weeks completed and 14 pounds (6.4 Kgs) lighter and the biggest challenge for me has been having faith in this lifestyle and that it will work. I still find it hard to believe that I can eat the yummy food I do and lose weight, all without working out like a maniac. Love it If you are reading this and giving up in despair, don't, keep going, you wont lose weight every week but it will come off. Thanks to everyone in the forum who has given advice and encouragement along the way. Im a third of the way along to weight loss goal and then look forward to maintaining this new weight.
Way to go!!!

Good for you. I've had a similar experience..it has all been a really positive and worthwhile "experiment "for me too...and one that I plan to stick with. I am also 5 weeks in and the third of the way along to my weightloss goal (3.6kg loss so far) . I'm so pleased that I stayed with it, even though my weightloss stalled for ages and was so slow. It sure made it easier to not have to deal with any of the dreaded cravings etc.I'm sure you felt the same way? All the best for your journey!
Yes the craving have been minor in comparison to normal diets. I've cheated only 3 times in a minor way and that's good for me. I've noticed my appetite has reduced so much I'm in danger of not eating enough some days. Good luck with your journey.

Congrats gollysmum! I'm 12 weeks in and I'd say maybe over halfway to my personal goals. The biggest challenge for me is finding patience... I'm losing pound after pound after pound... while really being content with the food etc. But still I'd love to jump a few weeks ahead and see where I'm at!
We all seem to be having a similar experience of needing to be patient and trusting the process. I'm sure that the lack of cravings, and the feeling of being satisfied has been so critical for me being able to resist temptation. ..and unusually for me
cheats have been really minor and very rare!!! I guess that overall, total calorie consumption simply has to be lower over the course of a few weeks, simply because of that fact alone.
All the best to the both of you.I didn't honestly feel that this was going to be as easy as it has been. I'm prepared to be patient and content..as long as the scales move every so often.
