Soo, what's wrong?
I try to track an average days worth of food about once a week to make sure I'm staying on track.
Two days ago I realized I consumed almost 3,000 calories and didn't even realize it. It's so damn easy to rack those calories up with all this coconut milk, bacon, cream, and avocados...
Anyways... yesterday I tracked my food and this is what I came up with.
Usually there are more vegetables for dinner and I still might add some in for tonights serving, but I decided to try a chicken clafouti using the recipe from the cookbook.
I crossfit every night, if it matters.
edit: probably gonna throw a 2% fage in after dinner... oh well!

Breakfast looks pretty big. You could try having either the bacon OR the avocado. and what about a 1/2 cup of coconut milk instead of a cup? Try 3 egs instead of 4. I say you could shave off a bit here and there, it does seem like alot of food.
Actually, that IS half a cup of coconut milk... any less than that would just be too depressing
Oh lawdy choosing between bacon or avocado is like my worst nightmare ever...
is that almost 5000mg of sodium you have there? If so, probably a bit much.
I grok, therefore I am.
what were the ingredients of the 'large chef's salad'? i gotta agree with LTC here about the sodium.
other than that, is your body performing/changing the way you want? if so i wouldnt worry about the calorie consumption.
Hahah nice catch, i just checked.... fitday screwed up the sodium calculation on my salad and set it for 3.5k sodium. No, it's nowhere near that.
edit: Just recalculated and the daily sodium is now at 1400
I usually don't worry about my calorie consumption most of the time. When I realized the other day though that I had consumed almost 3000 calories I was pretty shocked because it sure didn't feel like 3k cals!
I justify it by the fact that I crossfit hard as hell every day of the week, but I still wanted to post this thread I guess.
It is high because dailyplate screwed up. It's usually around 1400 or so.Originally Posted by Fatkid
