The First Fitness Tracker that Actually Tracks Your Workout

    Shop Now
Hi I'm new to this forum and I'm all about fitness trackers and that sort of gadgets.

I just wanted to share with you this activity tracking device I found out about a few days ago on the web. It can actually knows what muscles you're using and you can't cheat on it. The tracking device is so precise that it can tell difference between push-ups and triangle push-ups, bicep curls and alternating bicep curls and more.

But won't come out until december 2014, so I'll just have to wait.

With the sellout success of Fitbit this year, I expect next Christmas will see a crescendo of such tracking devices as they hit the peak of the Gartner Hype cycle.

Remember when GPS devices did this about 7-8 years ago? Now everything is just built into your phone.

Do you actually have to tell it what you are doing, or it figures it out by itself?

Fitbit's seem to be quite popular, they are affordable and have a lot of activity tracking features. I think your prediction is right, their sales are increasing very fast, while they're establishing themselves as a brand on the fitness tracking market.

I'm waiting for when we have devices that can tell you exactly how many calories you're eating and burning for the day.

The technology hasn't developed that much yet, so it's better to just weight your food, otherwise you could be eating like 1000 calories per day more than you actually need. I like to use myfitnesspal when tracking my food intake. I think this is one of the best apps for macros tracking.

Tought it was the only device that can learn new things, but I've found another one. You can already buy this one, it's tracking abilities are really impressive. It can track exercise type, reps, sets, speed, duration, overall activity level, calories burned, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and skin temperature.
