    My happy face. :P

    Done with exams!

Exams done at 4:30pm; sushi date at 8pm. I got my packing done, did book returning, got flight snacks, and went to the gym between that time... Well almost done with packing anyway. Still doing that. Earrrrrly morning flight and I am not going to feel like packing tomorrow.

Lolllll I love that moment where you are like "omgggg we get to use THIS??? I love ThIS" on exams. #nerds

We had a LOT of math in our field. Transport phenomena was all about mathematically describing flux in heat, matter, and etc. I hate multivariable calculus but I like differential equations. Don't ask me how!

I sucked at programming though. I hated matlab with a passion. ASPEN was not my friend either.

Lmao on First Amendment. XD Well the good thing about this class is I realized just how MUCH I can say without being "over the line."

That's helpful knowledge right? Hehe. XD it was a good class, I just took it with a shitty professor who I didn't mesh with.
I feel like such an outcast with my TI-83 Plus, haha. And y'all had Matlab, too? I hated that garbage. It was mandatory the first two years here, and the first day of our numerical methods class last semester, the professor walks in and says, "Matlab's a good program. But there isn't a single oil and gas company that uses it. Forget about it. We'll be using VBA."

Hope you have a safe flight. And I'm curious...what would Ray Peat say about someone walking through one of those porno-scanners at the airport ?

I have ti83plus too! Lol. XD I loved them both equally. The ti83 was more efficient IMO.

Matlab sucks. Aspen is what we use in the industry...which simulates a series of reactors and distillers with thermodynamic, packing, etc data. I hated that too... We had to "build" a CO2 scrubber for a coal plant without it exploding, violating laws of thermodynamics, or being unprofitable or being illegal under regulations for senior year. D: Worst project ever...had a rich middle eastern guy whose dad owned an oil rig on the team so he was set for life and didn't give a fuck.

Porn scanner: don't know, but I am most definitely having a bag of jet blue PUFA potato chips. Those blue potato chippies are awesome.

Turquoise's NEW journal: rants and raves of gelatin and law school

Jefferson your comment blessed me; I went through the ion detector (for hands only) instead of the X-ray thing. I didn't event have to take off shoes etc.

Cottage cheese, cold iced coffee with skim and a splash of whole + cinnamon, pineapple, banana, 1L water for hydration.

My peat JFK breakfast cost me $20. -___- I was going to IF and just get black coffee but ummmm I didn't get to eat much yesterday thanks to all the hurry, had a small platter of sashimi + 1 small roll for dinner. I usually eat 2-3x that amount (dinner + 1 mango + 1 cup berries + 2-3 smallish protein bars + 1 mango Greek froyo) in a day. Yeah yesterday was crappy food day...yayyy final exam mode. (got gluten'ed too...ordered a spicy crab roll for an app and they gave me a tempura crab roll, so whatever I ate it because although I haven't had gluten in at least 6mo, I am not that bothered about not being paleo. I almost immediately regretted it though...my belly hurt and it's not food poisoning, so I guess I officially can't actually eat gluten anymore).

I am back on track diet-wise today. No random protein bars (they were gluten free, but still not ideal). No more finals so no more "excuses" for being a fatass.

Although...Date Dude randomly asked me how many times I had been in the gym since he left. Then I said I go about 3x a week. He says I look more fit. I hope that means I got leaner. I can't believe there was a noticeable-by-others difference in 2.5weeks he was gone!!! Through finals and tons and tons of starch (rice pasta, rice cakes, mmmmmm) daily too.

Maybe he was just lying? In my experience though, guys usually don't lie about stuff like this unless I affirmative ask for an opinion that's a "trap" ("do I look fat in this?" Which I stopped doing unless I am with best guy friend who will tell me "yes" if I actually do which I am thankful for).

I haven't done anything differently except reduced protein and up starches + fruits in general. Weird. Oh and I started jogging .5-1.5 miles 2x a week.

I will be HIIT-ing it up this week. Also, the only "lift heavy things" will be helping my parents move. I told them to leave the heavy stuff for me.

Have fun! And yeah, congrats on finishing your finals ;3

When I was at JFK, I bought a Snickers bar for dinner: I had only 3 dollars remaining. Was a nice snickers bar tbf.

Turquoise's NEW journal: rants and raves of gelatin and law school

    Texaaaaaaas.

I didn't realize dad was taking me back to the new house first until around 3-4pm, or else I would have gotten salt lick BBQ at the Austin airport. New house = bachelor's pad ATM with dad and my brother. No food in the fridge except soy milk, milk, cheese stick, apples, and oranges. >.>

    Lol, "ATM" usage there. Hehehehe.

I had an orange and two cheese sticks for lunch. -__-I am going to destroy some sort of dinner tonight. Maybe I will have like 5 more oranges for lunch...

So hungry, but holy fuuuuck our new house is so huge to my eyes now. I am a true New Yorker. 3000 sq ft house is like wtffffff how big?!? It's pretty normal in Texas, but is 1000sq ft bigger than our old house so I am LOVING the kitchen+living room area. So big...I could do so much with this...must move back to Texas so I can have a proper kitchen and a huge walk in closet (feel free to make womannnn joke).

I also walked 2x faster than everyone at the Austin airport. NYC pace.

Wanting a walk-in closet is probably the most stereotypically feminine thing about me. I just cannot keep track of my clothes in a regular closet plus a dresser. I blame my mom, she's the one with the over-flowing closet, dresser, AND chair covered in clothes. I gotta find those pack-rat genes hard.
