Fat 2 Fit - One Woman's Journey
I'm boring, that being said my breakfast 6/7 days a week is a hug bowl of oats I mix with boiling water then when it soaks up into a porridge I add a tablespoon of coconut oil, some agave and maple and BAM! Delicious way to start the day. I have zero issues and feel like a million bucks.
If you want to eat a low nutrition food that is simply 70+% sugar...go for it.
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.
Don't forget to play!
I've never liked any kind of gruel. I've eaten when there was nothing else to eat, but it often left me hungry. I used to make granola and that was tasty. I tend to prefer foods that require chewing.
Life is death. We all take turns. It's sacred to eat during our turn and be eaten when our turn is over. RichMahogany.
When I eat them I put bacon and a runny egg on it. No sugar needed.
Can't eat them. They give me bloat and major carb crash. I actually do like them and like to bake with them, but no more. Not worth it. They are on the junk pile with the rest of the grain family.
I made apple crisp with ground almonds and raisins and butter as a topping. It worked out really well, although it didn't have the crunch factor that oats had. But, no crash afterwards. Will be making it again for the holidays, as I don't do too many paleo desserts.
