Lowest weight 93lbs - too thin. Now stable at around 100lbs much better weight for me at my age.
Primal, minus eggs, dairy and a myriad of other allergens.
Personally I prefer swt potatoes , white variety over orange.
Wish I could get those Japanese purple ones here.
Normal potatoes I find a little boring if u have them too often and for me , it's either high carbs low fat days or high fat low carbs so mash potatoes is usually not an option !!!

For me..white potatoes are simply a vehicle for butter and sour cream..or for soaking up a bunch of roast fat. Sweet potatoes, on the other hand, stand on their own with nothing more than a sprinkling of salt.

I've had white potatoes the last 2 days and my nose ran a bit and I generally didnt feel great after eating them. Does that mean I should rule out all potatoes?

Key differences is the Vitamin A and C balance
Sweet potato: 283% RDA
Potato: 0% RDA
Sweet potato: 4% RDA
Potato: 32% RDA
But overeall they are balanced. Just pick em based on how tasty you find them. I find sweet potatos have a much richer flavour, so they are tastier but harder to eat in bulk. The reverse with potatos.
One thing that isn't mentioned is that white potatoes contain complete protein, which sweet potatoes do not. While it is true potatoes are not exactly protein powerhouses, a person could survive solely on white potatoes longer than they could sweet potatoes.
